Welcome Ted Rooke!
Ted is the one of the newest additions to Seventh Point, becoming the new Vice President of Media Services. Ted has over 25 years of advertising media experience and was one of the first to usher in the age of digital. A stickler for information and performance verification, Ted helped establish digital media industry standards for companies such as Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Hewlett Packard, General Motors, Delta Airlines, and with Digitas, a technology and marketing agency.
He spent his first seven years working in traditional media, managing newspaper, magazine, radio and broadcast (TV & cable) campaigns for such clients as Georgia Carpet Outlets, Aaron Rents, Food Lion, Childrens’ Hospital of Atlanta and McCormick Spices.
After getting the internet “bug” in 1999, he has worked primarily in the digital media space. As one of the “early adopters” of digital media, Ted has seen and helped craft the evolution of the digital media channel from a little-known media outlet with limited understanding of what clients were actually buying, into the hyper-efficient, results oriented, marketing & communications channel it is today.
A Personal Note
Born in Florida, raised in Southern California, Ted has spent his entire adult life in the Southeast, living the past 23 years in Atlanta, before settling into the beach life in Virginia Beach in 2013.
Ted earned a B.A. in Speech Communication from the University of Georgia, where he also was a member of the advertising department for the Red & Black Student newspaper. Upon graduation, he moved to Atlanta to pursue his career as a media professional.
A life-long passion for travel was instilled by his parents’ global travels, and continues to this day, having experienced such wonderful destinations as Alaska, Europe & the Western U.S. When not at work, Ted likes to spend time with his family; either at the farm or somewhere outside either hiking, kayaking, & playing tennis. If he’s not outside, he’s in the kitchen perfecting his amateur baking skills.
